This game totally surprised me as far as Kirby games go. I actually might put it above Superstar on a good day being that it has more variety and four-player. The only weakness is the lack of helpers. They really need to bring those back.

He was definitely right about Duke Nukem 3D. That was the one game I remember really digging into in 1996.

In level design and power variety, definitely. It even has its own mini-games that are better than Samurai Kirby and Quick Draw. Plus there's the challenge rooms, hard mode, and the 4 player mode.
