Who's the oldest member here? Isn't Spark, like, 80 or something?

Man, now I wanna play it again...

Not sure I agree. But either way, Super Star, Return to Dreamland, and Kirby's Adventure are easily the best in the series, to me.

Spark Of Spirit

You're off by seven years.

Either way, I'm hoping Kirby Triple Deluxe (the 3DS game) stacks up to Return. That game is class.

Oh wow, another fan!

This game totally surprised me as far as Kirby games go. I actually might put it above Superstar on a good day being that it has more variety and four-player. The only weakness is the lack of helpers. They really need to bring those back.

I'm so glad they brought back the movesets for the abilities. I found it hard to go back to playing other Kirby games after getting used to how the powers worked in Super Star Ultra.

QuoteHe was definitely right about Duke Nukem 3D. That was the one game I remember really digging into in 1996.

What about Super Mario RPG?

Heh, I remember back on TV.com when Foggle said he was only 14, which utterly shocked me at the time. Good God, has it already been 6 years since then? :D

After Super Star came out on the SNES it was very hard for me to play any Kirby game with powers because none of them were anywhere near as good as Super Star was at them. I could never understand why it took until Return to get the powers back to actually being worth getting. From what I've seen Triple Deluxe has the Super Star-style powers again, so I'm hoping they finally keep those.

AH! That's a hard choice. My friend and I rented that all summer and had a blast. I would have to split those in a tie.

I still can't believe that I've spent 1/3 of my life with many of you guys. :o

Capcom is re-porting RE4 to PC, this time with full mouse, widescreen, and controller support, as well as fixed lighting effects, in-engine cutscenes, etc. Also, unlike the HD console releases, this one will actually have updated graphics and run at a consistent 60 FPS. Good on them for FINALLY doing the game justice on PC!

Good to see one of the best games finally getting a PC release. Because RE4 never got one before. Not ever.

While they're at it, they should probably port the DMC HD Collection to the PC and release it via Steam. The only actual GOOD DMC PC ports are DMC4 and DmC, which are actually even technically superior to their respective console versions, from what I've heard. The DMC3 port is pretty bad going by general fan reaction to it, and of course DMC1 and 2 never got a PC release; although, I don't think anyone would ever complain about the latter of those 2 games being left in the dust to be forgotten about.

Also, they should make good individual ports of all of the classic RE games. Even my hunk of junk could still probably run the PS1 games without any significant problems.

And speaking of games that I'd like to see ported to the PC, out of all of the multiple consoles and handheld devices that NG games have been ported to, I'm surprised that Tecmo/Team Ninja has never even thought to port any of these games over to the PC. Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma on the PC would have definitely sold far more than the stripped-down 30 FPS versions of the Sigma games on the PS Vita.

I definitely support this. I'd be on that right now if they had done it already.

I would love to see every non-Nintendo game ported to the PC. And then someday, when consoles are dead and PCs become the entire focus, port all Nintendo games there. At least all the Nintendo games worth porting.

I was thinking about what my 10 favorite games are now last night for some reason. My list has changed a bit.

1. Nier - Yes, this is my favorite game now. I played it all three times months ago and I still can't stop thinking about it. It's just perfect, in every way.
2. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time - Upon replaying it, I've decided that I actually like this one more than the original trilogy.
3. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - A flawless high seas adventure with my most loved game world ever.
4. God Hand - The best melee combat system of all time accompanied by awesome music and a hilarious sense of humor.
5. Deus Ex - I'm still finding new ways to play this game on each run, and that's only taking stealth into account.
6. Ninja Gaiden (Xbox/PS3) - To this day, it's the high bar for sword combat and level design in 3D action games.
7. Resident Evil 4 - The Army of Darkness of video games. I could sing its praises all day long.
8. F.E.A.R. - Still the greatest FPS ever made in terms of mechanics and AI.
9. Dark Souls 2 - This is quickly climbing my list of all time favorites. The exploration and atmosphere are second to none.
10. Banjo-Tooie - Really. Even with its obvious faults, I still adore this game enough to put it here.
