Will Platinum ever make a game that isn't unbelievably awesome? (No.)

Well, if we're also counting their work as Clover, then I should point out that I'm honestly not a fan of Okami (its a good game, but it just didn't click with me for some reason), so if they have their game that is an exception of the rule of being outstandingly awesome for me, its that game. That said, just about everything else that they've made is right up my alley.

I think Okami is amazing, but yeah, it's not for everyone. And if you count their time as CPS4 and Clover, they did make both Devil Kings (very love it or hate it game) and Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble (which I don't like at all).

But under the label Platinum Games? Nothing but gold platinum.

Anarchy Reigns is still coming to America! ...But not until next year. :(

Spark Of Spirit

OUCH.

Too bad. It could have used the summer drought for extra sales. But I guess Sega needs profit this year.

Yeah, it's kind of lame. Probably still going to import. Might buy a NA copy as well to support Sega USA and Platinum, then give that away in a contest on here.

...Assuming I can afford to.

Isn't the game practically finished and even has a full english track ready to go? What's all the hold up?

I need to crush people with cheap ass Garuda tactics right now.

Not practically. It is finished.

Spark Of Spirit

The game's done.

The only reason I could see for the delay is Sega's current financial situation.

Yep. And import copies have full English and US/EU server support.

Quote from: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news-12070-Platinum-Games-Unhappy-About-Anarchy-Reigns-Delay.html"First of all, we are done with all international versions of Anarchy Reigns," tweeted Inaba. "The delay is not due to further development on the game. Also, even though the release dates will be different, the content of both the Japanese and Western versions will be 100% the same."

Perhaps most worryingly, Inaba went on to say, "Today's Q1 2013 release was the first we'd heard of it. Even if we wanted to, we can't comment as we're (still) in the dark officially."

"I want to sincerely apologize to all the fans worldwide for all the confusion this situation has caused. Even though we are the game's developers, we can only do so much about this."

I just realized something.

By the time Anarchy Reigns comes out in America, it will actually be cheaper to import it from Japan. Even the Xbox 360 version is region free and 100% importable, btw.

Good show, Sega.

Apparently you can unlock all of the multiplayer characters (including Bayonetta) to use in story mode. Pretty cool!

Spark Of Spirit

And yet for some reason this gen we have teams of hundreds making games.
