Man, you guys got a lot of cool stuff! 

I usually just get two-three gifts on Christmas, but they are always awesome gifts so I'm more than satisfied. 

This year, I got:

A Lightbox (this is the only thing I got that isn't a blu ray/dvd, but it's also the thing I'm most grateful to get. Utilitarianism > All  )
Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail (blu ray/dvd combo pack)
Serial Experiments Lain (blu ray/dvd combo pack)

I'm ecstatic to have Lain on blu ray! The quality already looks great on the dvd, but it looks godly on the blu ray, especially from what I've seen. I'm also glad to finally be able to watch the dub of Roberta's Blood Trail, since I prefer the dub to the sub for that series.

I seriously can't believe how affordable the Daria collection is. Thing is though, I bought it for $20 bucks, but if I had bought it on Amazon I could have easily gotten it for $14. I'm just glad I can add the series to the collection, though. 

Now, I really, totally, never ever ever imagined that I'd ever be able to afford the Zatch Bell release this year, but it must have been a christmas miracle or something because a bookstore I frequently visit was selling it 67% off. I have no clue why (though a lot of other stuff was on sale for ridiculously great deals), but it's the real thing, and I could easily afford that kinda deal for all 100 dubbed episodes of the show. It's gonna be fun re-visiting the show this summer. Heh, maybe I could go through it and another re-watch of Bobobo together and re-capture some of my childhood.

Damn! I remember when it came out, and I read that it was going to be like $70, but Best Buy had it for $40 so I just blew all of my money on it.

That said, I don't mind not waiting to get the set.

But yeah, waiting has its perks. We've had a lot of the Buffy and Angel sets here for a while, but when I saw that Fox's online store had them, as well as a bunch of other shows for $6 a pop, I decided that now was the perfect time to finish my collection. I just wish that I waited before I spent twice that price on the last MTM set, since that was on sale as well.
