Breaking Bad

Bumping because the show starts back up tonight.

I've been rewatching bits of the show in the past few days, and I have to say, seeing season 1 again is a bit of a trip. It's so different from the show we're used to now. It's much smaller in scope, Walt had a much bigger sense of morality, he wasn't anywhere near as close to Jessie as he is now, Skyler still had all of her love and respect for Walt, etc. All of these changes were obvious to happen as it went along, but it's still kind of weird to see.

There's one thing that was very clear early on though- this is a tight family. The Whites and the Schraders all love each other, and the chemistry was there from just about the very beginning. The intervention scene in episode 5 is especially pertinent now. And I can't wait to see what happens to this family over the final batch of episodes.

My local theater, the same one that's showing S.H.I.E.L.D. each week, is going to have the finale there too, so I'm going! How about you guys/ Anything special?

I don't think I ever posted in this thread but I just wanted to say that I'm a huge fan of Breaking Bad and the finale was as excellent as I could have hoped.

I'm currently 6 episodes into season 5, and Netflix currently only has up to episode 8, which I'm going to hazard a guess and say isn't the complete season. I'm going to have to see if Hulu has the rest, I suppose.

Hulu doesn't have the series on it. You are just gonna have to wait, or watch it illegally.

Though, I still need to start this show. Getting the motivation to start a 60+ hour-long episode series is kind of difficult when you are like me and cant spend too much time watching tv, are keeping up with a half-dozen other shows, and are going through multiple other series already and are itching to finish them asap.

At this time, I probably won't be able to start the show until the entire thing get put up on Netflix, anyway.

So, I just finished the series. Yeah, it's easily one of the best "things" ever, TV or otherwise. And that finale was amazing.
