Those themes are ones that I think will always stick with me. Especially #1 which I find to be the most powerful game song ever.

Stage 3-1 of Streets of Rage, with a flavor of nightlife

This mission music in Valkyria Chronicles that plays in suicide missions like luring in a battle tank or outrunning trench warfare

Lilycove City from the 3rd generation of Pokemon. Proof that the game's soundtrack absolutely eclipses every other gen

I only remember this track because I never finished Breath of Fire II because I suck

Sim City on the fucking SNES. A hardcore game because those natural disasters always fucked up your budget

The final boss battle in Mario and Luigi 1. Feel your hope drain away as you face that horribly tough bitch Bowletta

Video Game Music thread I see. Well, let's see what I can pick up for you guys.

Burst In Rock n Roll! Played during one of my favorite moments in Mother 3

I remember this music setting the mood to Lavender Town pretty well when I was a kid.

Cynthia's fight theme. An epic theme for such an epic fight.

Aran Ryan's theme. What can I say, I like the Irish rendition of the Punch-Out!! Theme

One of my favorite themes to Banjo-Kazooie

Another case for David Wise being one of the best VG composers is this...

Taking both the explosive mystic charms of Double Dragon music and applying the hard rocking and tough sound of Battletoads into one style is such a great feat. You can hear both styles in here and they mix together perfectly.

Oh yeah, and his take on Yuzo Koshiro's Streets Of Rage style is good stuff... The man is awesome.

What about Sunsoft's NES Games? I LOVE their epic 8-bit soundtracks!  

Stuff like Blaster Master and Journey to Silius for example?

How about Ufouria: The Saga?

Maybe perhaps Super Spy Hunter?

I'll guarantee you that Mr. Gimmick has the most awesome 8-bit soundtrack you'll ever hear (or your patience back)!
