You know, it's amazing to me how all Kirby songs are seemingly destined to become memes at one point or another. Case and point: KDL3's Sand Canyon.

And now, the original.

Jimmy Urine did a great job with the boss tracks in Lollipop Chainsaw.

Some examples:
Zed
Mariska
Lewis Legend

The Stream of Time from Tales of Phantasia. It plays at the beginning, yet sounds so... final. Sad, somber "end of the world" music in my ears.

These three tracks from Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, which in turn are remixes of Puyo Puyo songs. Always loved these tracks as a kid, still do.

Since I've been a classic Sega bender there is this...

I wish the 2D Mario games had soundtracks this good

The final map theme is amazing, too. But I can't find it anywhere to post.  :-[

Spark Of Spirit

Richard Jacques + Shinobi III = excellent

Mixing in Idaten and Japonesque (the two best Shinobi 3 themes) was a genius move. If only he added Whirlwind to the boating segments it would have been perfect.

I'm not sure if the sequel's version of this song is different from the original, but playing the demo for the original has made me fall back in love with it wih the sequel being the first time I heard it and got addicted to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwYzPj5FJQ8

So, I'm reminded once again just how hit or miss Brawl's music can be. Some of these arrangements are quite bland and do absolutely nothing for me, while others are simply fantastic.

So, I found out that the Saturn version of Castlevania: SOTN featured Maria as an exclusive playable character. Since I don't have access to her in the version of the game that I own (which is basically just a direct port of the PS1 version of the game), I decided to check out some footage of her general gameplay on Youtube. I then came to the realization that she has her own version of the "Dracula's Castle" theme from the beginning of the game, which is a really fucking bad-ass remix of the tune that utterly trumps any other track from the game, even the Clock Tower theme which was my favorite tune from the game up until this point. The problem is that I've literally spent the last hour of my time just trying to find a recorded version of that theme on Youtube but to no avail, which is driving me insane. I don't know what it is, but something about that piece of music has me determined to track it down in some isolated form....

Have you tried checking on Galbadia Hotel?

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

I have no idea what that is....

It's pretty much the site to go to for video game soundtracks. I've been a member for 6 years now. Forum (Final Fantasy Shrine) tends to be more useful than the actual site nowadays, though.
