I kind of wanted the Mega Yarn Yoshi too, but who knows where or when that will show up.

Wind Waker's gotta' be my GC pick.

That's definitely way up there. Zelda was at the top of its game on the GameCube.

Then again, so was Resident Evil. REmake and RE4? Arguably the two best games in not just the series, but the entire genre.

I considered saying "Zelda was at the top of its Game on the Cube". Should have just went with it. :>

Also, I just realized that spell check completely butchered one of my earlier posts.

If they make Galaxy 3, do you think Nintendo can top the first two games?

All of the Gamecube games mentioned are great. But Animal Crossing really is something special and as far as I'm concerned, can't be topped.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

I really wish I had played Animal Crossing when I was younger. My parents were going to get it for me for Christmas the year it came out, but it turned out to be too expensive I think. Still haven't touched the series, but I'm sure I would have loved it back then.

The GameCube had a lot of special games for me as a kid. Wind Waker, the Zelda disc with both Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time (barely got to play them on the original hardware), Metroid Prime, Melee, Luigi's Mansion, REmake (once I was a bit older), and yes, even Sunshine and Star Fox Adventures. I was more attached to my N64, PS2, and Game Boy, but damn, the GameCube was a great system.

Undoubtedly.

Looking at the level design in 3D World: Yes.

If they make the levels in Galaxy 3 less linear than the first two games, then they could easily top them.

Every Nintendo console is great. Some people will be quick to criticize the N64, GC, or Wii, but that's only because they aren't on the same level as the NES or SNES. But if you ask me, very few consoles are.

Foggle

The Wii is the second best Nintendo console IMO. And this is coming from someone who hates motion controls.

Don't see how anyone can hate on the N64. That's the epitome of nostalgia for people my age, and IMO it was better than the PS1 for everything except RPGs and horror games. Plus, it was basically the 3D gaming equivalent to the NES.

N64 is 3rd for me, 5th or 6th if you count GBA, GB and GBC.

Anyway, I liked PS1 more than it. How I compare them is  N64's AAA games are better while PS1 has more good games, at least from what I remember.

I don't think that's a bad distinction, actually.

Hmm, I'd probably be more fond of the PS1 if I was bigger on RPGs. But I think that I prefer the N64 after all.
