The intro, for those who missed it.  It still surprises me to see TOM interrupt The Room, I did not see it coming.

Blue Submarine No. 6 confirmed after Yu Yu Hakusho.

Hmm... not what I was hoping for...
After YYH?! Dammit, why'd all this happen after I lost the channel. :burn:
EDIT: GAH! YYH in HD?! Trigun on Toonami?! I can't believe I missed that piece of history.

Yeah last night may end up being the cruelest April Fools Day joke they ever done, depending on how next week goes.... or doesn't go at all.

gunswordfist

Funny if they do a traditional terrible not-funny-at-all Adult Swim April Fool's Day joke next week. :D

I fell asleep during Blue Submarine No. 6, so I missed the rest of the night. But boy was that fun.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Spark Of Spirit

The one year Adult Swim has a great April Fool's Day Prank and I miss it.

This sounds like the best line up on Cartoon Network since AS's early days.

Wait, there's more! What if I told you that "Screwball Squirrel" aired today on CN?

Cause it did.

Commode

It's aired twice so far, once at 6AM, and once at about 11:45.
It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Avaitor

It'd be even better if it was "Happy-Go-Nutty", to remain consistent. But still awesome.

Oh, and since I finally got to watch the full hour of Cartoon Planet on my DVR, what would you say your favorite episode from that set was?

While it's not my favorite of the shows here, I really got a laugh out of the Cow & Chicken one myself. I mean, the Dexter, Johnny and PPG ones were still great too, but I feel like I've seen them enough times recently in comparison (especially JB, since I have that ep on DVD), but since I've seen C&C considerably less in recent times than the other three, it felt fresher and more welcome to me. And it was pretty funny to boot. Although if "Meet the Beat-Alls" did air as it was originally scheduled to, that would easily have been my favorite. That ep just never gets old.

If you wanted me to rank what we got, it'd look like this

1- Cow & Chicken
2- Johnny Bravo
3- Powerpuff Girls
4- Dexter's Lab
5- Foster's

I didn't really like the Foster's ep. I love Kevin McDonald and all, but there's only so much of his screeching that I can tolerate in an 11 minute span, and his running around yelling "STEVIE" throughout the whole episode nearly made me deaf. And the rest of the characters were overly obnoxious here as well, aside from maybe Mac.

That was a hell of a surprise, I'll give them that.

But Toonami isn't coming back. And if it did, it would simply shrivel up and die just like it did before. Unless CN has an about-face and decides to give it the 5-7pm slot again, which is so unlikely as to be laughable.

If ASA wants to try and improve, bring back some weeknight programming and make better bumpers like you used to from 04-06. That would be a far more worthwhile endeavor.

Lord Dalek

I'm just going to restate what I've already said. Williams Street should just rename ASA Toonami and change the bumps. They don't need to do anything with the schedule at the moment, just make new bumps. Everything else will eventually fall into place.
