I might do a replay of Shining Force 1 just to unlock all of the secret characters. It's a shame that II had so few optional characters.

I only played the Shining Soul games (Which are tons of fun dungeon crawlers), but the Shining Force game is a remake of the first Genesis game. It apparently has a much better translation than the original game.

Foggle

Almost had a heart attack when I saw no Zero Mission. Then I re-read your post and realized it was just JP and EU upcoming releases. Seriously, I want that game on my TV so bad.

The lack of Mario Advance 4 is weird, but as long as we get All-Stars, I'm good. Though that does make me wish I hadn't already bought Advance 1 and World...

Hmm...might have to try that out.

I didn't even notice All Stars. That's great. Much better than when they celebrated it on Wii for Mario's anniversary.

Spark Of Spirit

They'll save Advance 4 for last to get those who bought All-Stars to double dip for the e-reader levels, I'm sure.

Still, I'm glad All-Stars is there at all. Shame it probably won't be the one with World that includes Luigi in it.

What?

Ah, you mean the sprite difference. That's what I was wondering about. I never liked seeing Luigi in the old games as just Mario in green clothes.

Looks like the DS remake of Mario 64 is also getting a release on Wii U. Would that remake be any good if distanced from the original DS's D-pad?

Spark Of Spirit

You'd still have a run button, so it still wouldn't be analog. I'd say it's worth it if you're a SM64 fan who wants to play as Luigi, Yoshi, or Wario, though.

Wasn't Chrono Trigger the same? And that worked with the 3DS's control stick, if I remember correctly.

talonmalon333

Speaking of Chrono Trigger, they should release the DS version onto Wii U Virtual Console. That's assuming they don't do the updated port that they obviously should do (DS version with the sound and image quality of the SNES version).

The DS version of Chrono Trigger is, as of now, still the best version of the game.
